The Bel Air High School Drama Company is selling bags of candy in the cafeteria from April 7 through 11.

Each candy bag costs only $1 and when you purchase a bag, you also get a chance to win a free ticket to the BADC’s upcoming spring musical, Sunset Boulevard. Featured in the candy bags are starbursts, lollipops, and various types of chocolates.

For the past 6 years, the candy bag profits have gone towards the detailed and intricate sets you see on stage during the drama company’s ever-impressive spring musicals. In previous years, the sets have cost up to $15,000.

“BADC has a history of putting on huge, complex productions, and those gigantic sets aren’t free. By purchasing candy bags, you are doing your little part in supporting the Drama Company, plus you get some candy,” explained Senior Ben Barsam, member of the drama company.

Support the BADC by buying some candy and coming out on April 10, 11 or 12 to see the drama company preform Sunset Boulevard at 7 P.M.
