Nothing gets me more in the patriotic spirit then spending my day with my friends and family celebrating our nation’s freedom in my own town.” Says Bel Air High School sophomore, Morgan Knight.

The highlight of the day is always the annual parade that began at 6:00 p.m., here you can see locals and performers walk, drive, ride, and dance along Main Street on various floats and vehicles while performing eye-catching routines.

“My father lives in the Main Street location of Bel Air and every year my daughters and I sit in his backyard in lawn chairs or lay on blankets and watch the amazing fireworks display that end the holiday just the right way.” Says Bel Air local, Nancy Hoch.

The annual fireworks show takes place at John Carroll High school at approximately 9:30 p.m. The town gathers around the fields and watches the breathtaking final celebration, which ends with the captivating grand finally.
