A Day For More Than Blue and White

On Thurs., Oct. 2, the Varsity Club will be sponsoring Class Color Day during Homecoming Week.

Each year, Varsity Club looks forward to seeing each class in their specified colored shirts during Homecoming Week. The seniors will wear safety green, the juniors will wear jade, the sophomores will wear palace blue, and the freshmen will wear bright yellow. The teachers are also participating in the colorful day by wearing their choice of purple or celadon (mint green).

Mrs. McDonough, the Varsity Club and Freshman Class Advisor, stated, “I would like to increase school spirit at Bel Air High School every day, and not just during homecoming week.”

Order forms are due back to Mrs. McDonough with payment by Sept. 11 in B207. The sooner the orders are handed in, the faster the students will be able to receive their shirts. Keep in mind that orders are not mandatory by any means. However, purchasing a shirt gives helps raise funds for your class.

“Class Color Day is really popular during Homecoming Week, but it’s also nice to see the shirts all year long,” said Mrs. McDonough.

Make all checks payable to Bel Air High School with your name in the memo section. Absolutely no late forms will be accepted, so order your class color shirt soon!
