Boys’ Soccer Suffers a Tough Lost Against Perry Hall

The stands were full as Perry Hall High School and Bel Air High School packed their fans into Bobcat stadium for a Boys Varsity Soccer game on Friday, September 14. The first half of the game was scoreless as a result of the dominate defense being played by both teams. The ball traveled up and down the field many times but never managed to find its way into the goal. Often Perry Hall approached Bel Air’s goal, but the ball was always cleared away by a Bel Air defender or goalkeeper, Garrett Lorenz.

The second half was controlled by the offensive attack of Perry Hall. Bel Air struggled defensively, allowing three goals. All of the goals were scored within just a few minutes of each other.   Late in the second half, Nate Hand, took a shot at the Perry Hall goal with defenders all around him, however it was saved by the Perry Hall goalie.  Logan Szekalski also took a shot that was stopped by the Perry Hall goalie.  With the sounding of the final buzzer Bel Air was defeated 3-0 by Perry Hall.

Come out and to Bobcat Stadium support the boys’ soccer team on Thursday, September 20, at 3:30 p.m. as the team takes on Dulaney High School.
