Five Days Down, 175 To Go

As the 2014-2015 school year arrives, the new and returning students at Bel Air High School begin the transition into this school year with their teachers and staff.

All of the students and staff at Bel Air are striving for excellence this year, and plan to start this as soon as possible. Many teachers are encouraging their students to make goals not just for their class, but for their every day school environment in general.

For seniors, this year is about making a lasting impression and getting ready to graduate and move on to college.

Rachel LeDonne, a senior at BAHS says, “This year for me is mainly just trying to improve my GPA and decide what I college I will attend next fall.”

The sudden transition from lounging around all day to waking up early and working hard in school is difficult to adjust to for most students.

Taylor Patrick, a sophomore at BAHS said, “Having to wake up early is definitely the hardest part about going back to school. In the summer I was used to waking up on my own time, but now I am awoken by my alarm clock.”

The faculty and staff are all happy to welcome back the students of Bel Air High School. Good luck and have a great year Bobcats!
