MTV Movie Awards: On Sun., April 13, 2014, the best movie performances were honored at the MTV Movie Awards. The show, hosted by Conan O’Brien, was filled with laughs and surprises. Some of the winners included Zac Efron for “Best Shirtless Performance”, Channing Tatum for the “Trailblazer” award which shows an actor’s ability to play diverse roles, Jared Leto for “Best On-Screen Transformation”. Catching Fire sealed the deal, winning “Best Movie”.
Awkward: Senior Year: Ashley Rickards returned as Jenna Hamilton for MTV’s hit show Awkward on Tuesday night. The show’s fourth season is focusing on Jenna’s senior year with lots of recurring characters and big romances.
Blood Moon: Between 2:00 A.M. and 4:30 A.M. on Tue. April 15, the moon took on a reddish tint as it experienced a blood moon, or a lunar eclipse. The observation was most prominent in North and South America though some showers and clouds hindered the observation.
